Street Fairs in New York City 2023

New York City has over 100 street fairs and festivals between April and October. Below are a list of those street fairs occurring throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2023. Websites and information for vendors are listed along with each event.

Unless otherwise noted, these festivals are free to attend and all events are held rain or shine.

Brooklyn

  • Court St. Street Fair: April 16th
    • The Court St. Street Fair will take place on Sunday, April 16th. The street fair runs from 10am – 6pm and is located along Court Street, between Union and 9th St, in the Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn.

  • Graham Avenue Fiesta: May 13th
    • 18th Annual Graham Avenue Fiesta, held along Graham Avenue in Williamsburg, between Broadway & Boerum St. The event is held by the Graham Avenue BID and features over 200 vendors, music, activities for kids, and more! Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Fabulous 5th Ave Fair: May 21st
    • Huge street fair in Park Slope, spanning 18 blocks along 5th Ave – from Sterling Pl to 12th St. Vendors, music, performances, and more! A Park Slope tradition! The event is sponsored by the 5th Ave Park Slope BID and runs from 11am – 6pm.

Manhattan

  • West Side Spring Fair: April 1st
    • Six block long spring street fair in Morningside Heights featuring over 200 vendors. The event is sponsored by the Broadway Mall Association and held along Broadway, between 110th and 116th Streets.

  • Broadway Downtown Fair: April 8th
    • Springtime street fair sponsored by Community Board 2, held along Broadway in Greenwich Village – between 8th St and Union Square. Hours are 10am-6pm.

  • UWS Broadway Fair: April 9th
    • Street fair in the Upper West Side spanning 10 blocks featuring over 350 vendors. The event runs from 10am – 6pm on April 9th, and is held along Broadway, between 96th and 106th Streets.

  • 6th Ave Fair: April 15th
    • Large 9 block street fair in Midtown with over 300 vendors. The event is held along 6th Ave – between 23rd Street and Herald Square. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • 40th Street Fair: April 20th
    • Small one block street fair in Midtown on Thursday, Apr 20th. The festival is held along E 40th St, between Madison & Park Ave, and is sponsored by the Pajama Program.

  • Lexington Ave Festival: April 22nd
    • Six block long street fair in Lenox Hill with over 200 vendors, held along Lexington Ave – between 60th and 66th Streets. The fair is sponsored by the 19th Precinct Community Council and runs from 10am – 6pm on Saturday, Apr 22nd.

  • 2nd Avenue Festival: April 23rd
    • Street fair in East Village, held along 2nd Ave – between 4th & 14th Streets. The festival features nearly 300 vendors and takes place from 10am – 6pm.

  • Chelsea Spring Fair: April 29th
    • Street fair held along 8th Ave in Chelsea, between 14th & 23rd Streets. Sponsored by Chelsea Visiting Neighbors, the street fair features 300+ vendors over nine blocks. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Columbus Ave Fair: April 30th
    • Six block street fair held along Columbus Ave, near Lincoln Center in the Upper West Side. The event is sponsored by the Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center and features over 200 vendors. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • 2nd Avenue Community Benefit Festival: May 6th
    • Annual springtime street fair sponsored by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. The event takes place along 2nd Ave in the Upper East Side, between 66th & 86th Streets. Hours are 10am – 6pm. Proceeds are donated to nonprofit organizations in the surrounding community.

  • Plantathon & Crafts Fair: May 7th
    • 44th Annual Plantathon & Crafts Fair, held along Broadway, between 73rd & 82nd Streets, in the Upper West Side. The festival features over 350 vendors over 9 blocks, hours are 10am-6pm.

  • Greenwich Avenue Street Fair: May 13th
    • One block street fair in West Village hosted by Village Visiting Neighbors, held along Greenwich Ave between 12th St & 7th Ave. Over 50 vendors.

  • Muddy Paws Block Party: May 13th
    • Block party hosted by Muddy Paws Rescue, held along West 54th Street, between 9th & 10th Avenues, in Hell’s Kitchen. This one block street fair will feature over 150 vendors, dog adoptions, pup portraits and doggie treats, games & activities, and so much more! Hours are 10am-6pm.

  • Lincoln Square Fair: May 14th
    • Street fair held along Broadway near Lincoln Center, between 60th and 65th Streets, featuring over 200 vendors. The event is sponsored by the Committee for Environmentally Sound Development. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Liberty Street Fair: May 19th
    • Friday springtime street fair held along Liberty Street in the Financial District, next to Zuccotti Park. The fair runs from 10am – 6pm.

  • Broadway NoMad Street Fair: May 20th
    • Five block street fair held along Broadway, between 27th & 32nd Streets, in NoMad. The fair is sponsored by the Union Square Community Coalition and will have over 100 vendors. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Washington Square Fair: May 28th
    • Memorial Day weekend street fair next to Washington Square Park – held along Washington Square N, between University Pl & MacDougal St. The festival is sponsored by Bailey House; hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Forest Hills Festival: April 2nd
    • One block long street fair held along Queens Blvd, near MacDonald Park, featuring around 120 vendors. The street fair is sponsored by the 112th Precinct Community Council and runs from 10am-6pm.

  • 31st Street Festival: April 22nd
    • Astoria’s first street festival of the year, held along 31st Street – between Ditmars Blvd & 21st Ave. The festival is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Astoria and runs from 11am-6pm.

  • Myrtle Ave Spring Fair: April 23rd
    • Huge 11 block springtime street festival in Ridgewood, held along Myrtle Ave – between Wykoff Ave & Stephen St. The street fair is sponsored by the Ridgewood LDC and features over 500 vendors. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Grand Ave Festival: April 29th
    • Springtime street festival sponsored by the Maspeth Chamber of Commerce. The festival takes place from 12 noon – 5pm on Apr 29th and is held along Grand Ave in Maspeth, between 69th & 72nd Streets.

  • Astoria Cultural Fair: April 30th
    • Large street festival in Astoria with over 550 vendors. The fair is held along Steinway St, spanning 4 long-blocks between 28th & 34th Streets. Hours are 10am – 6pm. Sponsored by the Central Astoria LDC.

  • Greenpoint Ave Festival: May 6th
    • Six block street festival in Sunnyside, held along Greenpoint Ave – between 42nd & 48th Streets. The event is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Sunnyside and features nearly 250 vendors. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • 63rd Drive Festival: May 20th
    • Annual street fair held along 63rd Dr in Rego Park – between Austin St & Queens Blvd. The festival is sponsored by Forest Hills Visiting Neighbors and runs from 10am – 6pm.

  • Woodside Festival: May 27th
    • Six block street fair along Woodside Ave, between 63rd and Roosevelt Ave. The festival runs from 10am – 6pm on May 27th and features nearly 300 vendors. Sponsored by Woodside on the Move.

  • Broadway - Astoria Memorial Day Street Fair: May 29th
    • Memorial Day street fair in Astoria, held along Broadway, between Crescent and 42nd Streets. The festival is sponsored by the Broadway Astoria Merchants And Professionals Association and features over 350 vendors. Hours are 10am – 6pm.
