Street Fairs in New York City 2023

New York City has over 100 street fairs and festivals between April and October. Below are a list of those street fairs occurring throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2023. Websites and information for vendors are listed along with each event.

Unless otherwise noted, these festivals are free to attend and all events are held rain or shine.

This list will be updated throughout the spring and summer, so make sure to check back!

Bronx

  • 161st Street Friday Food Festival: June 16th
    • Friday food festival and street fair held in front of Joyce Kilmer Park on 161st St, just down the street from Yankee Stadium. The fair is sponsored by the 44th Precinct Community Council and runs from 11am – 6pm.

  • Fair @ the Square: June 17th
    • 14th Annual Fair @ the Square street festival in Bronx’s Westchester Square neighborhood, held along E Tremont Ave. Music, vendors, food, and fun for the entire family! The festival runs from 11am – 6pm.

  • 1 Bronx Pride Festival: June 18th
    • Annual pride festival held at The Hub (3rd Ave & 149th St) in Melrose/Mott Haven. The festival is hosted by the Third Avenue BID and runs from 12 noon – 6pm.

Brooklyn

  • #FunOn5th Festival: June 4th
    • Annual Fun on 5th street fair in Bay Ridge, held along 5th Avenue – between Bay Ridge Ave & 85th Street. Featuring diverse merchants and vendors, artists, and live local bands! The event is sponsored by the 5th Avenue BID and runs from 10am – 6pm on Sunday, June 4th.

  • Brooklyn Pride: June 10th
    • Annual Brooklyn Pride parade & festival, held in Park Slope along 5th Avenue – between Union & 9th. The festival takes place from 11am – 5pm and will feature entertainment, vendors, family activities, and more! Following the festival is the Brooklyn Pride Parade at 7:30pm, the city’s only twilight parade!

  • Seventh Heaven Street Fair: June 18th
    • Annual street fair in Park Slope sponsored by the Park Slope 7th Ave Chamber of Commerce featuring craft, merchant, and food vendors, entertainment, and more! The festival takes place along 7th Ave, between Lincoln Place & 14th St and runs from 10am – 6pm.

  • Smith Street Sunday Funday: June 25th
    • Annual Sunday Funday street festival held along Smith St, between Union and Bergen Streets, in the Boerum Hill/Carroll Gardens neighborhoods. The festival is slated to have over 280 vendors; hours for the festival are 10am – 6pm.

  • Midwood Mardi Gras: June 25th
    • 46th Annual Midwood Mardi Gras street festival, held in the heart of Midwood along Avenue M – between E 13th St & Ocean Ave. The street fair is sponsored by the Midwood Development Corporation and will have food, vendors, music, rides, and more! Hours are 11am – 6pm.

Manhattan

  • 52nd Street Summer Fair: June 2nd
    • Small one block Friday street fair in Midtown, held along East 52nd St, between Lexington and 3rd Avenues. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Times Square Springfest: June 3rd
    • 10 block springtime street fair in the heart of Times Square, held along 7th Avenue between 47th & 57th Streets.

  • First Avenue Festival: June 3rd
    • Ten block street fair held along 1st Avenue, between 68th & 79th Streets, in the Upper East Side. The event is sponsored by the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and will have over 350 vendors. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Festival Del Boulevard: June 3rd
    • 24th Annual Festival Del Boulevard, sponsored by the Juan Pablo Duarte Foundation. This seven block street festival takes place along St. Nicholas Ave in Washington Heights, from 181st – 188th Streets, and will feature music, food, games, vendors, and more!

  • Celebrate Israel Parade: June 4th
    • Annual parade sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. The parade is held along 5th Avenue in the Upper East Side, between 57th & 74th Streets, and will have a small block party on E 63rd St. Hours are 11am-4pm.

  • Liberty St Fair: June 8th
    • Small one block Thursday street fair in FiDi featuring over 50 vendors. The event is held along Liberty Street, between Church and Broadway, with hours listed as 10am – 6pm.

  • P.A.L. Festival: June 10th
    • Street fair held along Broadway, between Waverly Pl and Union Square, in Greenwich Village.

  • 8th Ave Midtown Festival: June 10th
    • Large 13 block street fair with over 400 vendors. The festival is held along 8th Avenue, between 42nd & 55th Streets, in the Theater District. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Romania Day Festival: June 11th
    • 22nd Annual Romania Day Festival, held along Broadway – between Liberty St & Battery Park, in Downtown Manhattan. The festival is a celebration of Romanian culture featuring music, food, folklore, art, vendors, and more!

  • Bleecker St Festival: June 17th
    • Street fair held along Bleecker Street – between Broadway & 6th Ave, hosted by the Bleecker Area Merchants & Residents Association (BAMRA.) The festival will have over 300 vendors and runs from 10am – 6pm.

  • Washington Square N Fair: June 24th
    • Street Fair held along Washington Square North, right next to Washington Square Park, in Greenwich Village. The fair is sponsored by the Greenwich House and features over 160 vendors. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Amsterdam Avenue Festival: June 25th
    • Annual street fair held along Amsterdam Ave in the Upper West Side, between 79th & 86th Streets. This 7 block festival runs from 10am – 6pm and features over 250 vendors.

  • Fulton Street Fair: June 30th
    • One block Friday street fair held along Fulton Street in the Financial District, between Broadway and Nassau St.

  • 41st Street Festival: July 1st
    • One long-block street fair held along W 41st Street, between Times Square and Bryant Park, in Midtown. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • The Great July 4th Festival: July 4th
    • Independence Day street fair held along Fulton Street, between South Street Seaport and Gold Street, in the Financial District.

  • Bleecker St Festival (July): July 8th
    • Annual summer street fair held along Bleecker Street in West Village, between Christopher & Bank Streets, featuring over 180 vendors.

  • Bryant Park Fair: July 9th
    • July street fair located on W 41st Street, between Bryant Park and Broadway/Times Square, in Midtown.

  • Re-ImagineAsian Festival: July 9th
    • Annual Re-ImagineAsian Festival and street fair, held along 7th Avenue near Times Square in Midtown. Admission is free. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • 6th Ave Chelsea Festival: July 15th
    • Nine block street fair in Chelsea, held along 6th Ave – between 14th & 23rd Streets, featuring over 300 vendors. Hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • UWS Summer Fair: July 16th
    • Summer street fair near Lincoln Center in the Upper West Side, sponsored by Project Open at Lincoln Towers. The 7 block festival will be held along Broadway W, between 65th & 72nd Streets, and have over 250 vendors; hours are 10am – 6pm.

  • Bastille Day Celebration: July 16th
    • Annual Bastille Day Celebration sponsored by the French Institute Alliance FranΓ§aise, held along Madison Ave between 59th & 63rd Streets in Lenox Hill. The festival will have cultural performances, food and refreshments, a film screening, vendors, and free activities for all ages.

  • Bleecker Pompeii Fair: July 22nd
    • July street fair held along Bleecker St, from 6th to 7th Avenues, sponsored by Our Lady of Pompeii Church.

  • Vanderbilt Y Festival: July 23rd
    • Nine block street fair sponsored by the Vanderbilt YMCA. The festival takes place along Lexington Ave, between 42nd & 52nd Streets, and will have over 300 vendors.

Queens

  • Queens Pride: June 4th
    • 30th Annual New Queens Pride parade & festival, hosted by the LGBT Network. The event is held in Jackson Heights, along 37th Ave and 75th St, and features the second largest and second oldest pride parade in NYC along with a festival on 75th St featuring entertainment, food, vendors, and more! Parade starts at 12 noon; festival runs from 12-6pm.

  • Astoria Spring Festival: June 10th
    • Spring street festival held in Astoria Queens along 31st Street, between Ditmars Blvd & 21st Ave. Hours are 11am – 6pm.

  • Forest Hills Summer Fest: June 25th
    • June street fair held next to MacDonald Park, along Queens Blvd – between Yellowstone Blvd & 70th Rd, in Forest Hills.

  • Broadway Astoria Summer Jam: July 2nd
    • Seven block summer street fair in Astoria, held along Broadway – between Steinway & 47th St. The event is sponsored by the 114th Precinct Civilian Observation Patrol and will feature over 250 vendors.

  • Queens Blvd-Forest Hills Street Fair: July 9th
    • Summertime street fair in Forest Hills, located next to MacDonald Park – between Yellowstone Blvd and 70th Rd. The street fair will have over 100 vendors and runs from 10am – 6pm.
