We are thrilled to continue our 50th Anniversary Year celebration with the presentation of our second annual “Our Road to Freedom” event, anchored in “Jab, J’ouvert, Revelry & Resistance”, our Carnival themed exhibition curated by Know Your Caribbean.

  • Exhibition Tour led by Know Your Caribbean
  • Procession from CCCADI Firehouse (120 E 125th) to the Harlem African Burial Ground, and onward to CCCADI Ile Oyin (208 E 126th)

  • Curators in Conversation with Know Your Caribbean & Exhibition Artists
  • Carnival Fete featuring Live DJ Set & Steel Pan Drum Band
