The 113th Feast of the Assumption, hosted by the Maria SS. Dell’Assunta Society of Westbury, will take place from Wednesday, August 14th, through Sunday, August 18th, located at the St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School grounds.
A Westbury tradition for over 110 years, this annual festival features nightly musical entertainment, a carnival midway, plenty of delicious food including home-cooked Italian fare, carnival and casino games, dessert baking contest & homemade wine contests, annual auction on Saturday, vendors, raffles, and fun for the entire family!
Fireworks by Santore’s World Famous Fireworks will be held on Saturday night, August 17th, at approximately 9pm.
On the feast day, August 15th, there will be a Mass in honor of the Blessed Mother at 5pm followed by a procession with music by the Metropolitan Festival Band from St. Brigid’s Church to the festival grounds.
