Ticonderoga’s annual Best 4th In the North celebration will take place from Friday, July 1st through Independence Day, July 4th, located at Bicentennial Park. This annual 4th of July celebration features a festival at Bicentennial Park with carnival rides, games, food, and live entertainment each night.

On July 4th, festivities begin at 1pm with a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Town of Ticonderoga Community Building followed by the annual running of the Montcalm Mile at 1:45pm. Shortly after is the annual Fourth of July Parade held along Montcalm St – this year’s theme is Christmas in July. The carnival opens at 3pm and features the Superstars & Legends concert at 6:30pm with tributes to Elvis, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, and June Carter.

The 4th is capped off with a spectacular fireworks display by Santore World Famous Fireworks at dusk (approx 9:30pm.)
