The Capital Region’s hometown fair features exciting midway rides and games, the Royal Hanneford Circus, Aim High Canines show, Sea Lion Splash, racing pigs, live music, hypnotist shows, a demolition derby, animal barns, livestock shows, horse shows, exotic reptiles, lumberjack show, Blue Ribbon Cooking Center activities, exhibits, demonstrations, favorite fair food and more.

Music highlights include Nite Train (6 pm Tuesday); Schenectady Pipe Band (7 pm Wednesday); Aquanett (7 pm Thursday); Geezer (8-11 pm Friday); Capital District Megaband (12-3 pm Saturday); Big Sky Country (8 pm Saturday); and Grit N Whiskey (6-8 pm Sunday).

Pay-one-price admission (includes rides, shows, attractions, exhibits and parking) is $22 on site, $18 online pre-sale, and free Wednesday, with ID, for ages 65 and older, Grange members, active military and veterans. Children under 36 inches tall are admitted free (rides not included; kiddie playground available).

Fair gates open at noon Tuesday and 10 am Wednesday – Sunday (8 am for livestock events). Midway hours: 2-10 pm Tuesday, noon-10 pm Wednesday – Thursday, noon-11 pm Friday – Saturday, noon-8 pm Sunday
