One of the oldest and largest state fairs in the United States, The Great New York State Fair offers nearly two weeks of entertainment, music, rides, and exhibits! The fair has been a tradition since 1841 and attracts close to 1 million visitors yearly.

The 2021 edition of the New York State Fair will run from Friday, August 20th through Labor Day, September 6th and will feature agricultural and animal exhibits, a midway with carnival rides and games for all ages, a huge assortment of delicious food, free midway entertainment, hundreds of vendors, and concerts every day such as Nas on Aug 20th, The Beach Boys on Aug 28th, Third Eye Blind on Sept 2nd, and many more!

Admission to the fair is $3 per person (free for children 12 and under.) Admission tickets can be purchased online prior to arriving or at kiosks at the gate, however there will be no cash accepted at these kiosks – see the fair’s admission page for details.

Unlimited ride wristbands are $30 Monday – Friday, and $35 on Saturday & Sunday. Save $5 when purchasing wristbands before August 19th, see the fair’s midway page for details.
