The longest consecutively running fair in the USA, the 202nd Jefferson County Fair will take place from Tuesday, July 9th through Sunday, July 14th at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds in Watertown.

The six day fair features agricultural and animal exhibits, a midway with carnival rides and games for all ages by Reithoffer Shows, Fireman’s Parade on Tuesday, plenty of delicious food and treats, free entertainment including Lee Germain & Judy Comedy Illusionist and Ninja Experience, and headline events such as the Demo Derby on Thursday and Saturday, and a concert by the Guthrie Brothers on July 10th (admission required.)

Gate admission to the fair is free with on-site parking for $5.

Pay one Price ride wristbands, good for unlimited carnival rides on the day of purchase, are $25 per wristband/per day. Pre-sale ride wristbands are $20 each and can be used on any one day of the fair. See the fair’s Midway page for more information.

Midway specials include Dollar Day on Thursday where ride tickets are $1 each (sold in sheets of 10 tickets), and Military Appreciation Day on Saturday where ride wristbands are $20 each for military service members (must show military ID.)
