The 180th Erie County Fair will take place at the fairgrounds in Hamburg from Wednesday, August 7th through Sunday, August 18th. The Erie County Fair is not only one of the largest fairs in New York, but one of the largest in the United States with over a million visitors each year.

The 12 day fair features fantastic musical entertainment such as Kane Brown on Aug 12th and Foghat on Aug 8th, a midway packed with exciting carnival rides and games for all ages, agricultural and animal exhibits, a huge assortment of amazing food, craft and retail vendors, free midway entertainment including The Chipper Experience comedy magic show and Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy, and much, much more!

Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for Seniors 60+, and Free for children 12 and under. Advance sale admission is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and are available at area TOPS Friendly Markets locations. The fair also has several gate specials such as:

  • August 7thChannel 2 Opening Day: $5 admission or Free admission with a 2 canned food donation to the Food Bank of WNY.
  • August 9thFirefighters Day: Free admission for Firefighters and Auxiliary members with proper ID.
  • August 11thVeterans Day: Free admission for Veterans, Active Military and Auxiliary members with proper ID.
  • August 13thChannel 7 Day: $5 admission
  • August 15thChannel 4 Day: $5 admission
  • Weekdays: $7 admission before 11am Monday-Friday.
  • Every Day: Student Special – $7 admission for students after 5pm (with student ID)

Pay one Price ride wristbands are $30 per wristband/per day Monday – Friday, and $40 per wristband/per day Saturday and Sunday. Advance Sale wristbands are $25 each and are valid from Monday – Friday. Advance sale wristbands can be purchased at TOPS Friendly Markets locations around the area.
