The Kiwanis Club of Sand Lake will be hosting their annual Summerfest from Friday, June 15th through Sunday, June 17th, located at Butler Park in Averill Park. Summerfest is one of the largest outdoor events in Rensselaer county with over 15,000 visitors during the weekend’s events. The festival will have a carnival with exciting rides for all ages, delicious food, music and entertainment, craft and retail vendors, and much more.
On Saturday, June 16th, the festival will host the “Vettes Honoring Vets” Car Show from 10am – 2pm, with awards at 2pm. Saturday evening will have a fireworks show starting at 9:40pm.
There will be a pay one price ride wristband special on Sunday; ride all the rides from open to close for $20!
