The Madison County Fair kicks off on July 12th at the fairgrounds in Brookfield. The four day fair has been an annual tradition since 1839 and features all of the fun of a traditional county fair including agricultural exhibits and livestock shows, 4-H demonstrations, carnival midway with rides and games, delicious food and treats, live music, and fantastic grandstand events such as the demo derby and truck and tractor pulls.

The annual Fireman’s Parade will take place on Thursday, July 12th, starting at 6pm followed by the Team Demolition Derby at 7pm.

Admission on July 12th is free for those that bring a can of non-perishable food. Admission on July 13th is free for senior citizens.
