A family-fun tradition since 1886, the Ulster County Fair features concerts, entertainment, exhibits, livestock shows, favorite fair food, midway games and exciting rides for all ages, from whimsical kiddie rides to state-of-the-art thrill rides.

Enjoy racing pigs, an educational petting zoo, horse shows, 4-H competitions, truck and tractor pulls, wool spinning and weaving demonstrations, chainsaw carving champion Josh Landry, and The Moogician magic, comedy and music show.

Special events include fireworks (Wednesday at dusk), The Oak Ridge Boys (8 pm Wednesday), Restless Heart (8 pm Thursday), the Martin Family Circus (4 pm and 8 pm Friday), Ulster County Sheriff’s K9 Demo (5 pm Friday), Savannah Jack (4 pm and 8 pm Saturday) and BJ Thomas (5:30 pm Sunday).

Parking, entertainment, concerts and unlimited midway rides are included with fair admission. Rides open at 4 pm Tuesday and 11 am Wednesday – Sunday. Gates close at 10 pm Tuesday – Thursday, midnight Friday and Saturday, and 8 pm Sunday.
